Wayne has had extensive experience in manufacturing, sales and distribution and assuming strategic roles within businesses. These included Haigh Australia; Sunland Automotive Products; K & D Plastics) from 1979 to July 2000. He has a proven track record in strategically formulating, implementing and evaluating business development initiatives specifically relating to growth and value adding assets(Marketing, Production, Warehousing, Sales, Operations, Branch Management).

His skills in the financial management include Financial Management Planning and Capital Growth in context of cost containment and stock controllables; Setting, Controlling and Working within Budgetary Guidelines/Accountability; Authorizing and Cost Effectively Managing Resources (Human, Physical, Financial); Forecasting Budgets and Needs Analysis Accountable within Contemporary Financial Management Practices and Contemporary Computer Applications (Excel; Word; Microsoft Project; Internet)

Pivotal role in achieving return on investment (25% annual turnover) and growth in profit as designer, manufacturer and distributor of the company's key product range - 1999

Project managed the development of new warehouse in Eagle Farm (whilst still managing Brisbane manufacturing) with a combined annual revenue of over $10 Million to successfully achieve desired outcomes of: integration of value-added quality concepts in all spheres of activities including manufacturing; introduce, establish and monitor specifically-designed internal systems, structures, policies and procedures; re-engineer internal tracking (Video Conferencing; Interstate Networking); with the final real outcome being reduction of production and distribution costs - 1995 

Generated staff culture change and increased productivity through strategically aligning the team to "new ways of doing things" and managing shifting paradigms as State Manager - 1990 to July 2000

Nominated Director of Marketing and Member of Board of Directors (National) based on performance criteria; marketing strategies; revenue growth; vision; profit; Employee Opinion Surveys; and divisional audits - 1998
