Einstein said many years ago, "Everyone has two choices. We are either full of love or full of fear."
Valentines Day has come and gone for another year. Regardless of whether you celebrated it or not, it is symbolic of the essence of life and the secret of real success. Love.
It reminds us of our great choice in life – to live a life of love or a life of fear.
Einstein said many years ago, "Everyone has two choices. We are either full of love or full of fear."
Leunig echoes this when he wrote in The Age –
There are only two feelings: Love and Fear
There are only two languages: Love and Fear
There are only two activities: Love and Fear
There are only two motives, two procedures, two frameworks, two results: Love and Fear, Love and Fear.
Although we make many decisions each day, the choice for which we are ultimately responsible is always the same – are we acting (responding) out of love or (reacting) out of fear? Answering this question can be a great shock to the human ego.The widespread disharmony in families, businesses, and society in general, (pride, guilt, adulation or blame) shows us how few people function from this fundamental paradigm.
Purpose is a Matter of the Heart. The heart symbolises love and love is expressed through our Spirit and our Purpose.Purpose is our spiritual core and it is why we exist. This is where the great choice of life is made.
So even though Valentines Day is over for a year, what it symbolizes should stay for a lifetime.
Love who you are and are becoming. Love your Self!
Love the people in your Life. Love your spouse.
Love your kids. Love your neighbours. Love your co-workers.
Love your customers. Love your boss. Love your Work. Love the unloveable!
So what is your core motive when you respond and react to the stimuli that impact you day by day? It's your choice! Choose love and you will be amazed how much more successful you will become in business and in all your life relationships.

PS If you have stayed with us this far, then please make time to read the poem below.
People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centred – love them anyway
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish or ulterior motives – do good anyway
If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies – succeed anyway
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow - do good anyway
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable – be honest and frank anyway
The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds – think big anyway
People favour underdogs but only follow top dogs – fight for the underdog anyway
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight – build anyway
People really need help but may attack you if you help them – help them anyway
Give the world the best you have got and you will get kicked in the teeth – give the world the best you have got anyway.
